Creativity. Leadership. Decision making. While much of education revolves around knowledge acquisition, skill development, and XXX, there are other, more intangible skills and capabilities that are also part of the education process. Creativity, leadership and decision making are very subjective skills - we can see them in others, but they are not something that can be 'trained.' At the same time, while they do not appear naturally, they can be cultivated. And they are as important in the learning and development process as any knowledge or 'hard' skills are.
Creativity does not have to be something eccentric, unique, or crazy. It can just mean seeing new possibilities in old information or situations.
Much has likewise been written about leadership and leadership styles. What is the most effective leader for what type of an organization, and what is 'good' or 'bad' leadership. We all can see good leaders, but what makes them so?
